Our wines are made from grapes grown on the finest slopes of the Villány Wine Region (among others, Jammertál, Ördögárok, Fekete-hegy, Bocor, Csillagvölgy and Kopár). Every year we produce around 12,000 quintals of grapes of which 11,000 quintals are blue grapes on the Bock Estate's 80 hectares and on further 70 hectares as integrated land. The carefully picked grapes arrive at our modern processing plant in Villány, where annually one million bottles of wine are made. In line with the creed of the Bock family, our viticultural activities are carried out along ecological principles; in the course of production we use renewable energy sources and our vineyard cultivation produces next to no waste. Vines incinerated in our vine-burner are converted into thermal energy, and we also upcycle the by-products of wine production: palinka from the pomace and grape seed oil and powder extract from the seeds of blue grapes.
