The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering CTU in Prague consists of a total of 20 institutes and scientific departments, which cover a wide range of engineering expertise from technical mathematics, physics, mechatronics, thermodynamics, through the design of machine parts, automobiles, aircraft and production machinery, to the manufacturing industry and individual production technologies, their design and automation. A considerable creative potential lies in the scientific and research staff and in the students, of whom there are almost three thousand.
Over 150 years of the Faculty's history is long and represents a great commitment, but also a promising promise of further development of the Faculty for the industry in the Czech lands based on Czech mechanical engineers.
