ChainsMEGAlife maintenance free roller and conveyor chains can be applied in all areas where post installation lubrication is not at all or only partly possible. This is the case in clean and dry surroundings or in applications with difficult lubrication passage. MEGAlife maintenance free chains are corrosion resistant due to nickel-plated parts and can be utilized in a temperature range from –40°C up to +160°C.
All maintenance-free MEGAlife roller chains from JWIS have an extremely high breaking and fatigue strength, which means even better operational reliability for the customer. The chains offer exceptionally high wear resistance and long service life even without re-lubrication, keeping downtimes and servicing requirements to a minimum. Depending on the customer application, MEGAlife maintenance-free chains are supplied either dry or ready-treated with special-purpose lubricant.

Materials and components for mechanical engineering - otherThe Chain Condition Monitoring System (CCM) from iwis measures the wear elongation of chains in operation and gives maintenance staff timely warning when wear elongation has reached the point where the chain needs to be replaced.
CCM can be integrated quickly and easily in machinery – and even retrofitted without any special additional components – in numerous chain applications in many industries. Measurement is precise, contact-free and requires no direct interference in the chain drive. Or simply transfer results to a computer via a USB interface.
CCM offers users a number of benefits: it not only gives maintenance staff time to (re)act, but also prevents long plant or machinery downtimes, thus helping to safeguard promised delivery deadlines to your customers.
Predictive maintenance prevents downtimes and unnecessary costs!

Driving chainsOpen conveyor systems are susceptible to contamination by foreign bodies or small parts, which can cause belt malfunction or damage the transported goods. iwis transfer chains for conveyor systems prevent such costly malfunctions before they can occur. Transfer (TF) chains are completely enclosed on three sides by wear-resistant, rugged snap-on plastic attachments, even when they pass over the sprockets. The close-fitting attachments completely cover the functional areas of the chain, effectively eliminating the risk of injuries to staff and possible damage to machine-processed workpieces with sensitive surfaces, for example.
iwis transfer chains are suitable for conveying, handling and synchronising containers and workpiece carriers, particularly in applications where gentle handling of sensitive items is required. Some typical application fields are the food processing industry, electronic components and PCB production, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, and glass and pottery processing.

Roller chainsCorrosive environments require chains with high fatigue strength and wear resistance. Chains made from normal steel grades corrode quickly, so corrosion-resistant chains are used in such applications. A wide variety of coatings and material combinations can guarantee that a chain is corrosion-resistant. Our product range includes roller chains made from rustproof material (CF stainless steel, CF b.dry), available in nickel-plated or galvanised CR versions. Chains with zinc-aluminium coating (ZAP) are a new addition to the range. However challenging your application, we are confident we can supply the right chain.
