Faculty of Architecture CTU in Prague. The oldest, largest and most important institution providing education in the field in our country. Thanks to the spatial conditions in the new building, the school based on openness was able to expand the traditional focus on architecture and urban planning to include other disciplines - design and landscape architecture. The Faculty of Architecture is also a prestigious workplace oriented towards research, scientific and artistic creative activity.
The field of study Design is represented in all subsequent study programs. The Institute of Design has two basic studios and six vertical studios with different focus, from industrial and product design to interior design to conceptual design. It offers a unique opportunity to try out all the studios during your studies.

Balaena - foldable swing for children

Balaena is a foldable swing for children designed for indoor use. It can be easily folded and unfolded without the need for tools, ensuring better portability. The swing primarily serves as a rocking device, but when flipped, it can also function as a table with a chair. Suitable for preschool-age children.

LOTA rocking chair for kids

Lota the rocking chair is made of beech plywood. It is composed of two circles with a diameter of 1000 mm, one circle serves as a backrest and the other circle forms a seat with legs. The concept consists in quick assembly and disassembly by the customer, plus it can be easily transported or stored by placing two circles on top of each other. The seat and the legs of the rocking chair are then connected by screwing into the screw nuts. The target group is children from 8 to 12 years old. Lota can be an interesting refreshment of the interior and can also catch the playful eye of a child quite quickly.

TON toy - a collection of toy cars created from waste materi

TON toy is a collection of toy cars created from waste material from the TON company. It uses simple abstracted rounded shapes that emphasize the ergonomics suitable for a child's hand. And this with the help of an additional function that is intended to interest children and at the same time develop their haptics. The toys can be stacked in 2 different ways, it is possible to drive the toy car, for example, upside down with the wheels on top with the intention of developing the sense of touch. The TON toy also aims to increase perception and the ability to differentiate colors of lighter shades, thanks to the colored threading rings, which can also serve as a counter
