Pivovar Old Cock

The Old Cock Brewery is built in close proximity to the historic center of Znojmo and due to the fact that it is adjacent to historic buildings, it was necessary to hide it almost entirely in the ground. The brewery has a maximum annual production of 4000 hl with a fully automatic brewhouse. Beer legends are brewed here by Stanislav Hahn and brewer Vojta Mrkvička in a slightly different way, in their own way, but above all with heart and respect for the craft. They brew, as they say, simply beer that makes you laugh.
The brewery offers both classic lagers and many interesting rooster specials with names that clearly say who is the master in the backyard. Here you can find, for example, Broth, Scythe, Brake, Scalp or Bullet.
Part of the brewery is the neighboring guesthouse Old Cock Castle and its own pub in the center of Znojmo, Čepárna.
