TERN GSD
The Tern brand is not only a manufacturer of folding bikes, but also strives to improve the lives of all of us by reducing the impact of human actions on the environment. Developing and manufacturing the best possible folding bikes in the world is just the first step. Others may include the introduction of the Node Cargo folding cargo bike or the Vektron folding electric bikes. But a crucial step is the introduction of the compact Tern GSD electric cargo bike to the streets of the world's cities. The GSD defines a new category: "utility compact". The GSD easily transports two children and a week's shopping, or 180 kg of cargo, while measuring only 180 cm in length, which is less than a Dutch-type city bike. Thanks to the foldable Physis stem and retractable seat post, you can store the bike in your apartment or transport it in a larger station wagon. The GSD can be individually adjusted for people between 150 and 195 cm tall, so it can be used by absolutely everyone – mom, dad and children. The high-end Bosch Cargo engine is powered by one or two 500 Wh batteries and the GSD can travel up to 250 km. The equipment includes integrated lighting, mudguards, a center stand and even footrests for the passenger, i.e. everything you need for cycling life.

In addition, the company's vice president is Josh Hon - the son of the founder of the Dahon company.<br /> <br /> Tern folding bikes stand out above all for their design, a lot of exceptionally functional and durable technical solutions, which make these bikes the absolute world leader among folding bikes. It is primarily a frame solution with DoubleTruss technology and the construction of both folding mechanisms in the form of the Physis stem and the main frame joint OCL joint. All three elements make Tern folding bikes not only exceptionally good folding bikes, but also bikes that are great to ride. This is due to the very rigid frame. When developing their bikes, Terno focused particularly on rigid construction, ease of use of all folding mechanisms, as well as easy serviceability and long service life. All the main elements are replaceable if needed, they can be easily dismantled and possibly repaired. This Ternu approach should also contribute to the satisfaction of customers who will use their bikes every day for several years.
